Broker’s Update

For web brian june 2014 headshot photoshop

Dear friends and family,

Summer is upon us! I would like start off by thanking all our clients that purchased or sold a home with us recently. We had a very busy spring season and we couldn’t have done it without you!

New residential real estate activity has been relatively slow in the first half of 2018, yet housing is proving its resiliency in a consistently improving economy. Some markets have had increases in signed contracts, but the vast majority of the nation continues to experience fewer closed sales and lower inventory compared to last year at this time. Despite there being fewer homes for sale, buyer demand has remained strong enough to keep prices on the rise, which should continue for the foreseeable future.

Considering the facts above and rising interest rates, we still anticipate activity in local markets to increase as Summer is typically one of the busiest times for home sales in our area.

So enjoy the warm weather and keep us in mind for your real estate needs! We always appreciate your passing our contact information to anyone you know or meet who might be thinking of selling or buying a home. Our business is based completely upon referrals, and I know that we can count on you when the time comes.
